Farewell to Hohoe

Today is our last day in Hohoe. We were supposed to leave an hour ago but so far the driver and the van have not shown up. When Alice worked here 11 years ago she was told that time was GMT: Ghana Maybe Time...

We didn't get a chance to post about our last day our school placement. The power went out last night and the modem/router didn't come up immediately so we were incomunicado for a bit. Still, I'll leave thoughts on our placement and our last day there for a time when I won't have to shut things down on a moment's notice.

As we head up to Tamale (with a night in Accra at Hotel Obama!) postings on the blog might end up being a little less frequent. We've been lucky to have access to Diana's computer while we've been here and haven't had to go in search of an internet cafe. That won't be the case on the next leg of our journey. On the other hand, Alice has found this laptop to be very frustrating to type on so she might actually post more often once we leave it behind.

It's hard to believe that it's been a month already. Bring on the next seven weeks!
