Came across this article by chance the other day. Given our time in Ghana it raises some interesting points. Still not sure what to think. Cross Cultural Solutions gets held up as an organization that does it right but having spent four weeks volunteering with them I'm not sure I agree with everything the article says about them and what they achieve. I think I still need a bit more time and distance to sort out the complicated nature of volunteering in the developing world...
